HEVC was designed with the idea that progressive scan video would be used and no coding tools were added specifically for interlaced video. I giggle with Do people still get TB. The movie did a good job in showing that wealth is relative. The rich treat the main family no better than the family did to the old housemaid. We can see this based on how the mom, Jessica, and them were unwilling to compromise to bring food down for the crazy guy in the basement. They have that sense of superiority just because they are higher class. The lines get blurred. There's so much symbolism in this film I can't even count them all at this point. 🔥🔥🔥 I feel reinvigorated 0:43 💞💗 👇👇👇🧡. SOOO many people complaining about the movie and criticising it and most of them havent even watched the movie, just the trailer. Yall r complaining that the trailer doesnt explain enough, thats the whole point. Nowadays, hollywood gives everything away: plot twists, deaths. youre used to have everything handed out to you. Parasite trailers r done perfectly to get u intrigued enough without giving all the fun/amazing scenes away. Im amazed how many dumb people are commenting here.

Never seen a depiction of a poor family so well in a korean movie. Still get chills thinking about is the kind of movie you need to watch at least once in your life. They've made ngrats on winning best picture. One of the best films I've ever seen. The flood scene was breathtaking. Had no idea what to expect. Completely blown away. Imagine being mad at people for speaking their language. This movie went from 0 to 100 within minutes. I always hear about the movie Parasite but I never got the curiosity to watch it until I heard about it winning an Oscar. Watched the trailer and now I'm off to watch the movie. Interesting cast too. Not only directing and acting... but also the music. just unbelievable movie... Watch tamizh films, you will get more and more poor depictions. 2:57 to 3:00 I love her acting when she says Tuberculosis? Come on. Her facial expressions are so on point. She goes from surprise, to laughter, to seriousness in seconds. It's the nuances that makes the movie so great. 10/10.
Can't stand how he touched the toilet seat
One of the most messed up things about this movie is how they are all actually pretty qualified (daughter is arguable) to do their jobs but if they normally went about getting them they wouldnt have gotten them. This shows a director having total control over his craft. Just imagine shooting all of these individually, add music and then stitching everything together. What amazing editing, amazing cinematography, amazing direction. Wow.
Just few hours ago i watched this movie ! Its soo cool ! I really miss that girl(from poor family. i thought she will recover but sadly no 😔😔... instead of that if boy dead ( hits by rock) that's okay. . I also think the bit with the stinkbug was very symbolic. It's an undesirable, stinky pest that the father flicks away, foreshadowing Mr. Park's reaction to Mr. Kim. Okay but the ending of this movie got me crying in the club. The amount of detail and symbolism in this movie is out of this world. I love the part where 'hitting-the-Send-button' becomes the new 'held-at-gunpoint' moment for today's age. I just watched this with my family it was amazing. Definitely deserved the academy award. If you say BongJoonho quick it starts to sounds french. Parasite: Hanchika no kazoku.
